The origins of A. Link predate 1900. Adolph Link, son of a Viennese goldsmith, immigrated to New York City in 1894, and apprenticed as a platinum jeweler with Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels through the early 1920s. During that time, he designed, fabricated, and sold his creations under the name A. Link and Co. After World War II, his sons Seymour and Marvin joined their father, one as a goldsmith and the other as a diamond cutter. The three began building jewelry predicated on the single premise that the jewelry highlights not the designs of gold, but the brilliance of a diamond. That tradition continues today.
In 2003, A. Link, owned by Jeffrey Link and Douglas Sills, partnered with Dali Diamonds, a DTC Sightholder, further enabling the manufacturing of jewelry with the world’s most brilliantly cut diamonds. Our moniker, “The Beauty is in the Brilliance™” is a true testament to our commitment.
